Using hydraulic stackers for high-altitude operations is not a clever use
Hydraulic forklift belongs to a type of hydraulic forklift, and its main job is to transport and stack goods. Generally, the lifting height of the fork can reach two or three meters. It is precisely because of this function that some people are more willing to use it as high-altitude operation equipment. So, is this approach feasible?
Factory workshops often involve maintenance and upkeep of lathe equipment, which usually requires two to three meters of high-altitude work to clean the top of the lathe. For this job, people often use the lifting function of hydraulic stacker trucks, that is, stepping on the forks of the hydraulic stacker truck, transporting them to a high point through the hydraulic system, and then performing cleaning work. This method may seem clever, but there are huge safety risks involved.
The fork contact surface of the hydraulic forklift is small and relatively smooth, making it easy for the foot to slip or fall off during movement, resulting in serious personal injury. Therefore, it is not advisable to use the hydraulic forklift for high-altitude operations.
