Method for dismantling and replacing the drive gear of an electric transport vehicle
Electric transport vehicles have fast operating speed and strong load-bearing capacity, making them highly efficient and essential transportation equipment for many work environments. However, prolonged use inevitably causes damage to the internal driving gears, and we need to replace them with new ones in a timely manner to avoid serious handling accidents.
Step 1: Disassembly steps for the drive motor:
1. This type of replacement operation is relatively simple, just remove the motor connecting wires and screws that fix the motor.
2. Gently vibrate the motor to create a gap between the motor and the drive gearbox.
3. Lifting the motor upwards can remove the entire drive motor. At this point, you will see a very small gear at the head of the motor, so the one that needs to be disassembled is the small gear. At this point, the first step of dismantling and replacing the drive gear of the transport vehicle has been completed.
Step 2: Method for removing the drive gear of the drive motor:
1. Use a bearing puller to pull out the small gear bit by bit, but some brands of gears are very close to the motor without any gap in between. If the bearing puller is not stuck, the following method should be used for disassembly:
(1) The traditional way is to use a hammer to smash downwards, but this small gear ring is too small and has a very small gap with the electronic rotor, making it difficult to smash. And this part cannot be heated with fire, for fear of damaging the insulation layer of the rotor coil.
(2) The generally safer method is to use an angle grinder to longitudinally detach the gear, which makes it easy to remove the gear.
(3) But some people use pliers to clamp the gear and hammer the rotor shaft to remove the gear, but be careful not to cause the rotor shaft to swell or deform. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to install new gears.
