Before turning the manual pallet truck, check the forks first

Therefore, we need to operate the handling vehicle correctly and pay attention to the position of the pallets during the handling process to avoid improper operation that may damage the pallets, affect work efficiency, and even damage the goods.
We must not turn when the forks are completely removed from the bottom of the pallet, except for not overloading or using pallets with uneven loads, and avoiding heavy objects hitting the pallets. This will cause damage to the longitudinal beam, which is a serious damage to the pallet. The reason is generally due to the driver of the transport vehicle releasing the load too early and transferring it out of the pallet. Moreover, when inserting the fork into the bottom of the pallet, it must not come into contact with the pallet. If the spacing between the fork and the pallet is not properly controlled, it is likely to cause the fork to collide with the longitudinal beam, resulting in a shortened lifespan of the pallet.
Therefore, before using a manual pallet truck to lift pallets or heavy objects, we should adjust the distance between the forks and spread them apart to distribute the load.
