Do not randomly pair electric pallet trucks with chargers
The operation process of an electric pallet truck is very simple, involving two major events: the lifting and lowering of the forks and the forward and backward movement of the wheels. With the extension of operation time, it will gradually become more proficient. However, the battery of the pallet truck will not improve its service life with the extension of operation time, but will become less and less disabled. When charging the truck, although the charging time is the same, the battery is becoming less and less disabled.
Some staff members want to use a high-power charger to charge the electric pallet truck, hoping to replenish the power needed by the battery in a short period of time in order to complete the work task as soon as possible.
However, the fast charging method includes two stages: current limiting charging and constant voltage charging. If only constant voltage without current limiting is used, excessive charging current will increase the concentration of electrolyte in the active material pores on the electrode, which will cause significant damage to the battery.
So when the battery capacity in the electric pallet truck becomes' empty ', we should try to replace the battery as early as possible, and we should not randomly match the truck with a fast charging charger, as it will have opposite consequences.
