The end of autumn has arrived, and the weather has turned cold. It is precisely during this season that the temperature has a significant impact on the endurance of electric forklifts. As is well known, low temperatures can lead to a decrease in the upper limit of battery storage, which means that the battery is not fully charged. To what extent will this decrease?
Research has shown that the optimal operating temperature for the vast majority of batteries is 25 ℃, and batteries in electric transport vehicles are no exception. Whenever the temperature drops by 1 ℃, the upper limit of battery storage will decrease by 0.8%. This means that if the temperature drops to 5 ℃, the battery capacity will only be 84%. However, this situation will also recover with the increase of temperature.
When using electric forklifts for operations, it is important to always pay attention to the remaining battery information on the display, especially during winter use, to prevent inconvenience to handling work.
